Create a Catalog :

  1. Step 1: Go to Catalog Manager and in the top-right corner, click Create Catalog.
  2. Step 2: Select the Ecommerce catalog type and click Next.
  3. Step 3: Choose the business to that your catalog will belong. By default, the drop-down menu is set to Personal. Type a catalog name and click Create.
  4. Step 4: Click View Catalog > Add Products to add items to your catalog.
  5. Step 5: elect Use Data Feeds to get started.
  6. Step 6: When you return to the Product Data Sources tab, you can provide your data feed file as a data source. You can also download a CSV data feed template file here.
  7. Step 7: To upload your data feed file, you have 2 options:
    1. Option 1 : Upload Once (use this option for manual uploading) : click Upload File to upload your data feed file. If your file format is correct, you see the green checkmark. With this option, to upload your catalog, you have to re-upload your new data feed file manually. Additionally, the file size limit for this option is 100 MB. If your file is larger than this, use the next option (Set a Schedule).
    2. Option 2 : Set a Schedule : With this option, you can place your data feed file on your http/https/ftp/sftp server. Then, Facebook periodically downloads your data feed file from your provided URL. For better security, you can protect your data feed URL with credentials, and allow only Facebook to download the file by adding your username and password to access the data feed URL. Then, you can schedule your uploads. We provide 3 options: hourlydaily, and weekly.
  8. Step 8 : Name your data feed and set the default currency for your products. Then, click Start Upload.
  9. Step 9 : If there is no error, you should see the green bar. From there, you can choose your next path :
    1. When you click View Products, ****it redirects you to the Products tab ****to see uploaded products.
    2. When you click Done, it redirects you to the Diagnostics tab to check for other warnings.

We recommend that you check the Diagnostics tab and try to fix all errors and warnings based on the suggestions.
